Teiserhof Family Hotel - A traditional business since 1966
Come spend your holiday in South Tyrol in a family hotel near Klausen
When Julia and Alois Volgger opened the Teiserhof as a small inn in 1966, they probably would not have thought that their earnest project would develop into a wonderful family hotel and unique retreat in the next decades. They gave their children Marianne, Frieda, Paula and Karl responsibility in the business early on. In 1972 Karl took over the Teiserhof, opened the first restaurant and invested in the wood-panelled dining room. In 1973 the first six guest rooms were furnished and finally an outdoor swimming pool was built. The family hotel near Klausen found new energy with the arrival of Karl's wife Hilde, and in 1977, the number of rooms was increased to 24 and the lounges, the cozy fireplace room and a small sauna-area were added.
As the family hotel grew, so did the Volgger family. Between 1982 and 1985, Stefanie and Christine were born. And there was no break in the expansion of the business either. In the 1990's, the swimming pool was redesigned and a sunbathing lawn and sun terrace were created. In 2004, 32 rooms were already available to guests at the Teiserhof family hotel. The sauna was expanded with additional steam baths and foot massage pools as well as a relaxation room with water beds.
In the meantime, the next generation of the Volgger family with Lena, Alma, Philipp and Johanna Sophie started working at the Teiserhof family hotel. In 2019, Christine Volgger took over the hotel together with her husband Hannes, revamped the Teiserhof according to the latest standards and furnished five new apartments for even more pleasant vacations.
